Flat Stanley was last seen on the Island of Hawaii in the town of Hawi. Here he is visiting his buddy Gabriel who showed him around town. Hang Loose Stanley!

FS loves the beatiful fragrances of the islands as well as the flowers. Someone was getting creative with a coconut.FS getting a look at a real coconut tree.

Stanley Taking a Bite of the Big Apple

Flat Stanley took a little trip to New York City and had the time of his life. Here he is having a drink at Tavern on the Green in Central Park.

Love Boat to Canada

Flat Stanley is just back from his cruise to Canada, and boy, is he exhausted! Thanks to the Shapiros of Foster City, CA for taking him on an awesome trip!

He rode the vintage Red Car Trolley Line in San Pedro California while waiting to board the ship...

And was surprised to see just how HUGE his ship was!

He relaxed onboard the ship while he sailed north through the choppy Pacific, and got up early to watch the arrival in Victoria, BC, Canada.

At the end of the day, he went to Skywalker's Lounge on the 18th deck of the ship to view the other ships in the harbour...

And made a friend with a grizzly bear that he met at the Vancouver Airport.

Wine Country Living

Stanley just got back from visiting the Napa Valley. Ah, April in Napa when the California Poppies are blooming and the sun is shining.Claire shows Stanley the California Poppies up close along the Silverado Trail.
He went by Saddleback Cellars and then went into nearby St. Helena for lunch.

Stan Goes to College in Humbolt

The Doane Family took Stanley to Humbolt to check out Humbolt State for college next year. Okay, Jordan was the one looking at the school but, will we see some pictures of Jordan and Stan in the dorms next year???

Hola from Cabo!

Spring in Dixon, CA

The weather is getting warmer and Stanley visited Dixon, CA for some fun spring activities...smelling the orange blossoms, planting some flowers with Lex, and laying by the pool.

Flat Stanley recently visited me at work in Foster City, CA! That is the building that I work in, the Peninsula Jewish Community Center.

Flat Stanley Takes a Trip

My niece recently sent a Flat Stanley to me to show around town. Everyone in her class was sending the Stanley they had drawn to someone who would show Stanley around town, take pictures with him and send him back with a note about his travels.

Now, we would like to see what other cool places Stanley can go! So, we are sending out a snail mail Stanley to see where he goes as well as an Email Stanley.

Here is how it works:

• Once Stanley arrives (via snail mail, email, or you can download Stanley here) cut him out.
• Take a picture of Stanley somewhere that characterizes your town or of something interesting that you do.
• Email the picture to travellingStan@aol.com .
• We will post his travels on this site: http://whereisflatstanley.blogspot.com/.
• Then, Send Stanley on to someone else who lives in an interesting location (and who will actually follow through with this project.
• Then just sit back and enjoy Stanley's journey!
